At the Law Office of Daniela Carmona, we believe in nurturing the next generation of attorneys by providing meaningful, hands-on legal experience while serving our community with excellence and compassion.
We are proud to announce that, a few weeks ago, we welcomed Sara A. Rashed as our first summer intern!
Sara is a second-year (2L) LL.M. candidate at the University of Miami School of Law, where she is pursuing her LL.M. in U.S. and Transnational Law with an expected graduation in December 2025. Her legal journey began in Egypt, where she earned her LL.B. from Ain Shams University in Cairo, the equivalent of a J.D. in the United States,and she is now on her path to securing her second J.D., this time in the U.S.
Excellence in Legal Research and Writing
Sara brings to our firm exceptional skills in legal research and writing, which she honed during her studies at the University of Miami. Among other academic achievements, she completed her final legal writing assignment on motions to dismiss and oppositions to motions to dismiss, for which she received an exceptional score.
Now, she is applying those skills in our litigation department, assisting our attorneys with drafting motions, conducting thorough legal research, and preparing memoranda to support our clients' cases. Her precision, clarity, and commitment to excellence have already proven invaluable to our team and to the clients we serve.
A Shared Journey Across Borders
Sara’s story resonates deeply with our firm. As an attorney from Egypt working toward her second J.D. in the United States, Sara shares a journey similar to that of Attorney Daniela Carmona, who is also an attorney from her native country of Cuba. Both exemplify resilience, dedication, and a commitment to using their legal knowledge to advocate for others in a new country.
